Hello! I'm a theatre director and writer working between London, Bristol and Rotterdam. I make collaborative work spanning new writing, comedy, classics and devising. I’m interested in making work that invites its audience to play, creating pared back, surprising visual languages and working with live music.

I'm director of Bucket Club. A produced company at Farnham Maltings, we've now made four shows which I've written and directed. THE BEASTS was a devised outdoor family show co-commissioned by the Lyric Hammersmith and Latitude. LORRAINE & ALAN won the Brighton Fringe Award for Excellence and a Musical Theatre Network Award for Innovation at the 2014 Edinburgh Fringe. FOSSILS was at the 2016 Edinburgh Fringe and transferred to Brits Off Broadway in 2017. LAUNCH PARTYa co-production with Farnham Maltings, toured village halls for six weeks in Autumn 2016.

I was recently a Jerwood Assistant Director with the Young Vic, where I assisted Richard Jones on THE TRIAL. I was also a 2015-2016 BBC Performing Arts Fund Fellow as Director in Residence at Tobacco Factory Theatres , where I assisted Andrew Hilton and John Nicholson of Peepolykus. I’ve assisted at the RSC on THE FANTASTIC FOLLIES OF MRS RICH, and this year on KUNENE AND THE KING, a co-production with the Fugard Theatre, Cape Town.

Recently, I've worked with Sabrina Mahfouz on a new play co-produced by Tobacco Factory Theatres and Oran Mor, and the Handlebards, whose all-female, outdoor touring ROMEO AND JULIET and AS YOU LIKE IT have cycled from London to Edinburgh and toured internationally.  I also worked with Chris Goode on a new five minute play for the Young Vic, and with writer Marietta Kirkbride on THE LONG TRICK, which toured Cornwall, Bristol and VAULT Festival, where it won a People's Choice Award.

Currently and coming up:
My new HandleBards production of THE TEMPEST is touring the UK.
WEIRDO SISTER, the short family show I made for the RSC in 2018 is returning to their Inside Out programme this summer.
I'm developing new work with Bucket Club this Autumn, supported by the RSC and the Almeida.
